Miranda Lambert Launches Interactive ‘Fastest Girl in Town’ Video, App + Contest

Miranda Lambert is the ‘Fastest Girl in Town’ — and the most interactive. The red-hot singer wants her fans to be able to go along for the ride and experience the action of her fast-paced new video, which is why she created an interactive version of the clip — along with a new app — to help foster that process and give her followers a rare experience.
You can rev your engines with Lambert online and customize the music video experience by seamlessly toggling between camera angles through the car-chase scene with Lambert’s partner-in-crime Danica Patrick, the Thelma to her Louise. This capability allows for an infinite amount of customized viewing experiences, unlike simply watching the director-shot clip, and you get ‘Randa from all angles, which is never a bad thing.
There’s also bonus content hidden throughout the new digital project, ahem, which fans can unlock in order to gain access to further additional, behind-the-scenes footage… and to win Miranda Lambert and Danica Patrick-signed movie posters (see below)!
A free app is also available now, with PhotoCards and scenes from the video, along with images from Lambert’s ‘Four the Record’ disc. News, music, videos, exclusive photos and more are also offered via the app, which even allows fans to watch the vid as a second-screen experience.
As if that weren’t enough, fans can customize the movie poster featured in the vid and share it on Facebook. A visual wall on Miranda Lambert’s official site will aggregate fan art, tweets, and Intsagram images containing the hashtag #fastestgirlintown.
Each day, Miranda’s Facebook page will feature a “picture of the day,” selected from the hashtags collected on the visual wall.
We love how high-tech Lambert has gone with this video and the app! Now go here to put yourself in the director’s chair!
