If you follow Blake Shelton on Twitter, you know that ‘The Voice’ coach and country star has a reputation for tweeting after he’s had a few too many drinks–and he’s not shy about connecting with attractive women. We’ve all wondered at some point if Shelton’s behavior bothers his sometimes sweet, sometimes fiery country star wife, Miranda Lambert. Turns out, if her hubby’s feed becomes too much to handle, Lambert just unfollows him!

It’s not that the ‘Over You’ hitmaker gets upset about Shelton’s behavior, per say. She checks up on his Twitter account regularly, but it doesn’t sound like those 140-character messages are real a point of contention for the country star couple.

“If I’m going to check up on someone, it is definitely Blake,” the country music superstar told Us Weekly in an interview at CMA Fest on Thursday (June 7). “I like to see who he is following: they are all hot girls. I check his direct messages.”

Lambert also admitted that Shelton’s drunk tweeting does occasionally annoy his wife of just over a year and she has no problem taking care of that small issue.

“I unfollow Blake quite frequently,” said Lambert, who now has more than 1 million followers on the social networking site. “Some days it is just too much.”

We can’t be sure, but she might be referring to Shelton’s flirtatious behavior when he appeared on ‘The Tonight Show‘ alongside Scarlett Johannson. Or it could be his comment about admiring Carrie Underwood‘s long legs at the 2011 CMA awards.

Despite Shelton’s sometimes overwhelming Twitter behavior, Lambert loves working with her husband. On Wednesday night (June 6), she won a CMT Music Award for Female Video of the Year for No. 1 single ‘Over You.’ The award-winning songstress co-wrote the song about Shelton’s brother, Richie, who was tragically killed in a car accident.

“There are so many things that are serendipitous about that song,” she told Us. “There won’t ever be another song like ‘Over You’ for me in my career…Sometimes when you write something so personal, you aren’t sure if it will translate, and I feel like it really translated to fans.”

‘Over You’ definitely translated to fans. Since its release in January, the single rose to the top of country charts, and showed some cross-over power when it hit No. 35 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
