Mill Creek Fire North of Fort Collins Ignited Tuesday to be Contained by 9 P.M.

A new fire was reported burning north of Fort Collins Tuesday afternoon. The fire was estimated to be 3 acres in size as of 4:15 p.m. Tuesday and is burning near the Colorado-Wyoming state line according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
Update at 5:07 p.m. - Pre-Evacuation notice for the Mill Creek Fire has been lifted. Containment is expected around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night according to to Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
A Single Engine Air Tanker and a helicopter were ordered. LCSO Emergency Services along with Livermore Fire are on scene.
