Memorial Planned for Larimer County Commissioner Lew Gaiter

A public memorial to celebrate the life of Larimer County Commissioner Lew Gaiter is Saturday, October 20 at Timberline Church at 2908 S. Timberline Road in Fort Collins. The service will start at 10 a.m. in the main auditorium of the church.

Gaiter lost a long battle with cancer at his home on September 18.

Commissioner Gaiter was appointed in 2010 to fill the District I seat on the Larimer County Board of Commissioners, vacated by the resignation of Commissioner Kathay Rennels. He was elected in the November 2010 general election, and reelected in the November 2014 general election.
