Meet Gertie, Susan’s Cherished Old Truck[VIDEO]
November 7, 2012 7:59 AM For right now, Gertie is stuck ON THE FARM. I just noticed her tag is expired…since July.
Now that the barn is stuffed with hay, the 1980 Silverado, Gertie is relegated to just pulling the harrow and reminding me of all the adventures we’ve had. She DOES truly ride like a Cadillac but prefers back country roads. This truck has been in my family for over 30 years and quite honestly is an escapee of the ‘Cash for Clunkers’ program. Do you have a cherished old clunker that just won’t give up?
