When I was growing up every boy wanted to be Han Solo. Every girl wanted to be Princess Leia.  Star wars was huge in the late 70s.  It's still huge.  May 4th is considered a holiday by Star Wars fans to celebrate Star Wars culture, books and to honor the films. It's because the phrase "May the Force be with you" is one of the most quoted lines from the Star Wars films. it may be one of the most quoted lines in cinematic history.

To celebrate this Star Wars day, my wife and I are going to watch the original Star Wars movie, if we can get  the VHS player to work.  We never did buy the series on DVD.  I love Yoda, but he didn't show up til the 2nd movie, "The Empire Strikes Back".  We want to know who is your favorite Star Wars character.  There are thousands, so if they are not listed just put your favorite in the comment section below.
