Some of the greatest voices in the music business, unfortunately seem to be silenced way too soon. Patsy Cline, Keith Whitley, Waylon and many others left us way to soon. They had a lot of great music left to make when they left this earth.

One of the greatest voices to ever grace country music was Marty Robbins. Marty was the ultimate country crooner. He could sing anything and just make your ears melt. He was born on this date in 1925 and was taken from us too soon in 1982 at the age of 57.

Marty came from a time when our country legends were in their prime and having the times of their lives. Watch how much fun he had with Merle Haggard and The Statler Brothers in some of the clips below. This was a very fun time in music history. Thanks for all the great music Marty. You are missed to this day.
