Take glimpse inside the dramatic life and mind of one of Hollywood's biggest icons, as Marilyn: Forever Blonde comes to the Lincoln Center for a three-night event in October, sharing with audiences an intimate recreation of her glamorous and successful, yet very scandalous and sad story of stardom.

This theatrical presentation, featuring the inner-most thoughts of Marilyn Monroe, includes 17 songs taken from straight from her iconic films and is based on actual memoirs and quotes documented by the blonde bombshell herself. The play will take you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions– from laughing and feeling inspired, to watching in desperation as you see the life of a once vibrant woman slowly crumble and come to a heartbreaking end.

Award-winning actress Sunny Thompson not only perfectly portrays Marilyn's stunning physical appearance, but also does an amazing job at giving audiences a peek as to how incredibly smart and witty the sex symbol also was, although these being qualities she was never really given credit for. The play is set during what would be the final photo shoot of the icon's dramatic life, and as she reflects back on her failed relationships and the frustration culminating from lack of respect for her talents and people being unable to love her for who she really was off screen, she wonders what it would be like to do it all over again.

Performances of Marilyn: Forever Blonde will be at 7:30 p.m. on October 8, 9, and 10, with an additional showing at 2 p.m. on October 10. Tickets start at $45 and can be purchased online or directly at the Lincoln Center Box Office at 417 W. Magnolia Ave. in Fort Collins.
