A 31 year old man accused of pushing a snowboarder off a chairlift has been arrested in Aspen.

He was treated at a psychiatric hospital in Grand Junction before appearing in court. He was then released on a $10,000 bond and permitted to be accompanied by his father to a psychiatric facility in Tennessee. His lawyer will be tracking his progress and promised that he will not leave the facility unless he notifies the Colorado authorities.

The Pitkin County Sheriff noted that they were taking the very strange incident seriously back when it happened. According to an article on TheDenverChannel.com, he's being charge with felony assault and misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
