The man who drowned late Sunday morning in a reservoir near Windsor has been identified as Randy McLean of Windsor.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, McLean died Sunday in Kyger Pit Reservoir near Colorado Highway 392 and Larimer County Road 13. He was 60 years old.

McLean drowned after he entered the Windsor reservoir, fully clothed, to retrieve a radio-controlled model boat he was sailing in the water. A dive team from the Greeley Fire Department recovered McLean’s body shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday.
