Old Town is a gem.

We've known this for a while. Now, with this video by OPEN Forum featuring the stretch of Fort Collins that we all love, more people around the world will know it as well.

The video taught me a few things about one of my favorite spots. When the mall opened in the 70's, Old Town wasn't a destination the way it is now. Thanks to the vision of many residents, some smart initiatives that helped to fund the revitalization, and a lot of hard work, Fort Collins is definitely worthy of the recognition this video brings.

Dwight Hall, brewer at Coopersmith's talks about the changes he's seen over the past decades.

It has totally come to life in the last 25 years. What was a typical, dying downtown has become the gem of Fort Collins.

Main Street, U.S.A. has featured other small towns that are unique, special and beloved. For example, here is their video on Woodstock, New York.
