Are we really ready for a Venti Coors Light or a Grande White Zinfandel in Northern Colorado? One of the Loveland Starbucks stores could add beer and wine to its menu.

According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, the coffee company won approval from the city of Loveland on Thursday to sell alcohol at its 1510 W. Eisenhower Blvd. store. Starbucks itself has not given final approval to the move.

The Denver Post reported at least seven Colorado locations are seeking liquor licenses, Fort Collins is also considering a request next month from a Starbucks store.

The evening menu at Starbucks also offers other food items as well, such as artichoke spinach dip with pita chips, meatballs with tomato basil sauce, bacon-wrapped dates and artichoke and goat cheese flatbread. I say, "Why not?"
