It seems like there is an app for everything these days.  Here is a new example:  The Loveland Public Library has introduced a new app that lets you search the catalog, renew or place items on hold, download e-books and so much more, all from a smart phone or tablet. The app is called Loveland Public Library!

HERE IS WHAT IT CAN DO

  • Quickly search the catalog and place a hold on checked out or available items.
  • Quickly renew currently checked out items.
  • Download and view/listen to e-books and audiobooks in just a few clicks (must have the Overdrive app installed).
  • Scan an ISBN label on an item from a local store or book rack and instantly know if the library has that item in its catalog.
  • Sign up for the library’s computer courses and other programming.
  • Use the library locator for directions to the library, open hours and phone numbers.
  • Find out about activities and events at the library and much, much more.

The app is available free for iOS (Apple), Android, Nook HD and Kindle devices.
For more information go to the Loveland Public Library website or call 962-2665.
