A very diverse collection of abstract and modern art comes to the Loveland Museum/Gallery this January. Authentic Form: Abstract Art Featuring Selections from the Polly and Mark Addison Collection, CU Art Museum opens to the public on Saturday, January 25th and will remain on display in the Main Gallery through Sunday, April 20th.

It features 39 abstract works of art and encompasses a broad array of artistic approaches and aesthetic tendencies. Included in the exhibition are works by many well-known artists such as Josef Albers, Herbert Bayer, Alexander Calder, Sonia Delaunay, Helen Frankenthaler, Ellsworth Kelly, Sol LeWitt, Elizabeth Murray, Louise Nevelson, Dorothea Rockburne, Frank Stella, and Barbara Takenaga.

ADMISSION

Admission is $5 per person and free for Museum members. Admission is free during Night on the Town and during the following pre-arranged exhibit free days: Friday, February 21; Thursday, March 6; and Wednesday, April 16. Guided tours with a docent are available every Friday at noon and are included in the $5 admission price.
