The style is entirely up to the artist. This year the chamber reached out to schools and art teachers in hopes of getting kids involved. If you have a design or verse that you would like to submit, you can do so at the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, 5400 Stone Creek Circle, Loveland.

For the card verse, it will appear inside the official Valentine card and must consist of one or two four-line verses. The max is eight lines. There must be a reference to the "City of Loveland" or "Sweetheart City." The verses should have humor, romance or be sentimental. For entries to be accepted, they must be typed or neatly printed.

Requirements for the card design say it should be 4.625 inches by 6.25 inches when folded. There are no color restrictions but keep in mind it will be printed on a four-color press. The work must be original, and copyrights will be checked. All types of art will be accepted including digital and graphic design.

For the cachet. It will be stamped on all cards that go through Loveland. The cachet consists of a verse and design. The verse can be four lines max and is required to reference the "City of Loveland" or "Sweetheart City." For cachet entries to be accepted, they must be typed or clearly printed. Designs must be submitted separately. Make sure to include your name, phone number, address, and email. For cachet designs, they must be 3 inches by 1.25 inches.
