After a rough weekend that included hospitalization due to pneumonia, country music legend Loretta Lynn is resting comfortably at home, according to a statement released on Monday morning.

“Around 1:30AM Saturday morning, Loretta awoke on her tour bus complaining that she was having a hard time breathing,” a rep for Lynn says in the statement.

Lynn was immediately rushed to a hospital emergency room in Bowling Green, Ky., where they diagnosed the singer with the beginning stages of bacterial pneumonia. Lynn remained in the hospital’s care over the weekend, and she is now back at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. recovering.

“It was one scary night, but I am feeling better and just gonna take it easy for a couple of weeks,” Lynn said in the statement.

While she had canceled her shows over the weekend, Lynn is still scheduled to appear in Knoxville, Tenn. on November 3 at the Tennessee Theater, followed by a show in Biloxi, Miss. the next night at the IP Casino Resort and Spa. Her tour dates continue on through early December, and then pick back up again in mid-February.
