If you're looking for something to do with the entire family this weekend, it's a big reopening for the Royal Gorge Bridge in Canon City after fires two years ago devastated the Colorado tourist attraction.

With the reopening this weekend, the park will be showcasing new attractions and rides that families will be able to enjoy on their excursions to the popular landmark. While the park reopened in August, 2014, this is the first weekend where everything will be available for use.

The Royal Gorge Fire in 2013 was one of the many fires that took a toll on the state, as it burned more than 3000 acres in Canon City. 48 of the landmark's 52 buildings were destroyed by the fire. However, the bridge was relatively untouched throughout the ordeal.

New to the park are a roller coaster, aerial tramway, and a 2400 foot long zipline which will stretch across the Arkansas River.

The park will be open through the weekend from 8:30am - 4pm and you can buy your tickets online all weekend.
