There's definitely not a shortage of fun things to do over Halloween weekend, but Longmont's 40th Annual Halloween Parade and Trick-or-Treat Street is one event you'll want to add to your to-do list.

Kids of all ages are invited to take part in the free costume foot parade down Main Street beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 29. Line up starts at 9:30 a.m. in Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Avenue. See the parade map here.

Trick-or-Treat Street will happen immediately following the parade in Downtown Longmont.

No registration is required to participate. The City of Longmont recommends strollers and wagons for little feet and while leashed dogs are allowed, they ask for larger pets to stay at home. Motorized vehicles will also not be allowed during the event.

Another really fun, family-friendly event to check out is Tiny Tot Halloween in Old Town Fort Collins on Monday, October 31. Learn more about that here.
