The second weekend of college football is set to kick off this Saturday and we are rooting for all of our Colorado college teams to score a win.

The CU Buffs will be hosting UMass at noon on Saturday. Coming off from a tough loss in Week 1 against Hawaii, the Buffs know that the pressure is on to win their home opener on Saturday, before heading into their big rivalry against CSU the following weekend. While UMass was just 3-9 last season, they are definitely capable of putting points on the board, so it's imperative that CU's defense shows up as strong as they did in the game against Hawaii. Running back, Michael Adkins had a breakout performance in the season opener, and with his skills combined with the rest of CU's young offense, a win is foreseeable in the Buff's near future. The game will be aired on the Pac-12 Mountain Network.

The Rams of Colorado State University will be taking on the Minnesota Gophers at Hughes Stadium at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Although the Gophers are a part of the extremely powerful Big Ten conference, this could actually wind up being a relatively even match up between the two teams. It's also the first time since 2007 that a Power-5 school has played in Fort Collins. Will Coach Bobo lead the Rams to a victory in front of a sellout crowd? Coming off of a solid win last week, CSU is feeling confident against Minnesota who is already 0-1. You can catch the game live on television on CBS Sports Network.

And finally, the University of Northern Colorado Bears have just arrived in Texas to face off against the Huskies of Houston Baptist University on Saturday at 6 p.m. UNC is looking strong after beating Western State  42-34 in their first game and if we go back to a year ago we remember when Houston Baptist traveled to Nottingham Field in Greeley and suffered a loss against our Bears. They are now hoping for the same outcome, a year later, in this highly anticipated rematch.
