Les Miserables Program

My wife and I has the pleasure of watching Midtown Arts Center's performance of "Les Miserables" on Saturday night.   We are lifetime members, so we have seen nearly every show for the past 5 years, but have going to the dinner theater for a decade. The cast was exceptional, perhaps the best talent we have ever seen there.

Nearly every word in the production is sung and the singers in this show were amazing.  David Ambroson played the perfect Jean Valjean. He is the one person in the cast you would swear was plucked right out of a New York City production for this particular show. His singing and acting were spot on.  The price of the ticket is worth it just to see David perform.  His version of "Brian Him Home" brought me to tears.

The cast is littered with amazing singers and that is highlighted by the ensemble numbers like "One More Day" and "Do You Hear The People Sing".  Just a warning, this is not a happy story.  Take some tissue.  It it also long, but if you are familiar with the "Les Miserables" or liked the movie, you will love this production. Plus they feed you. Make sure you  order the artichoke dip appetizer.
