Lauren Alaina was outstanding Thursday night at the Boot Grill, bringing the New From Nashville crowd to their feet at the end of her stellar performance.

You probably know Lauren best for being runner-up to Scotty McCreery in season 10 of American Idol, but she is so much more than that. She was a 16-year-old high school student back then. Now she is a 20-year-old woman, who has grown into a wildly talented Nashville artist and performer, with a brand new single that is climbing the country charts. You likely have heard "My Next Boyfriend" on K99 and you will hear a lot more of it too.
