Lauren Alaina is About to Become the Next Big Female Country Star [VIDEO]

One of the coolest things about the last couple of years in country music is the resurgence of the ladies on the charts. There was a time you were hard pressed to find five ladies making hits and now the chart is full of talented gals. I am so glad my friends in radio woke up and starting giving the ladies the airtime they deserve.

There was a time when Loretta, Tammy, Dolly, Reba and the likes ruled the music world. The last few years it has pretty much been Miranda and Carrie vying for the awards and Kelsea Ballerini burst her way into mix this year. Who is the next big female country star going to be?..Lauren Alaina is the answer.

Lauren is about to explode. This lady is so darn talented and sweet. I predict 2017 will be the year of Lauren. She first won our hearts on American Idol in 2011 and is finally about to have the success she deserves. Lauren has had a few marginal hits but her latest "Road Less Traveled" is looking like it will be the huge smash she has been waiting for.
