A man died of a gunshot wound Friday afternoon after struggling with Loveland police officers. Early reports had indicated it may have been a suicide.

The Loveland Reporter Herald is reporting that Larimer County Sheriff's Office officials will not be releasing the name of the victim who died until later in the investigation. However, the Loveland Police Department released the names Saturday of the two officers involved in the incident, who were placed on administrative leave, which is typical in a case like this.

Ben DeLima and Detective Henry Stucky are the two officers.  Both have been with the Loveland Police Department for 10 years. One of the officers suffered minor injuries, following a physical altercation, but authorities have not indicated which one.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families involved.
