After over 20 years together, Brooks & Dunn went their separate ways as a duo in 2010- not long after the above photo was taken.

Since then, we've heard Ronnie's new stuff- with his "Ronnie Dunn" album having come out in 2011.

But Kix Brooks is more than just half of what used to be Brooks & Dunn:

He spent much of last year running his OWN WINERY! - Arrington Vineyards!

Imagine kicking back with some Kix wine!

Kix has also been very busy and successful as the host of American Country Countdown since 2006!

Now though, it's time to get back to the music!

March 19th- Kix Brooks will release to radio (K99)-- "New to This Town"

Our Country Music news website TasteOfCountry.com reports:

“It paints the powerful emotion we’ve all known, of lost love and the uncomfortable situation of running in to that person again,” Brooks says in a press release

Sounds good. Add to that- he's teamed up with Joe Walsh from The Eagles.

Two great guitarists on one song!  Mark your calendar:  March 19th!

Let's take a look way back at one of Brooks & Dunn's early hits that really features Kix Brooks' voice!
