15-year-old Caitlyn Ochsner is a Freshman at Platte Valley High School in Kersey. Caitlyn is also a very accomplished singer that needs your votes in a nationwide contest.  She could win a $10,000 scholarship in the FMC Agricultural Products National Anthem Singing Contest.Caitlyn discovered her passion for singing when she was 8 years old when she won her age division at the Weld County Youth Idol contest that was held during the Weld County Fair. Our own Brian Gary was a judge for that event and Caitlyn's parent's, Kevin and Julie Ochsner told me Brian was a major inspiration to her.

During the past year Caitlyn was invited to sing the National Anthem at the opening ceremonies for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s annual convention in Nashville, at the Faith Performance of the PRCA rodeo at the Greeley Independence Stampede, and also opened for Susie McEntire at the Greeley Independence Stampede church service.

Voting will end on August 24th. You can vote for you favorite videos daily.  Vote for Caitlyn here! Just type Caitlyn in the Search Box.
