Kenny Rogers had cancer cells removed from his face on Wednesday (May 14).

The 75-year-old shared a picture on Instagram, which shows his face heavily bandaged. The right side was treated, but he seems to be in good spirits, even joking about the way he looks.

"… but you should see the other guy!" he captions. "Had a bit of skin cancer removed today -- I recommend everyone go get checked, especially since May is National Skin Cancer Detection & Prevention Month. Don't worry though, I'm gonna look great in Knoxville this weekend!

He's handling it like a pro, not letting a minor surgery keep him off the road.

Rogers is currently on his Through the Years World Tour, which runs through the summer. He'll also be featured in a Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit beginning in August, called 'Kenny Rogers: Through the Years.'
