Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson will return to the American Idol stage to perform during the final night of the three-series on Thursday, April 7th. The final week kicks off on Tuesday, April 5th with a 90-minute retrospective called American Idol: American Dream. In addition to Underwood and Clarkson, Thursday's final episode will feature performances by additional former Idols Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Kellie Pickler, Casey James and Bucky Covington, before Seacrest announces the final winner.

Chris Janson has teamed with ACM Lifting Lives and the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder Foundation to start a program called Harmonicas for Health. It’s part of an initiative to encourage COPD patients to exercise their lungs and improve their lives through the power of music.
