Katie’s Ride to Benefit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Set for July 15
Katie’s Ride has been going for as many years as I can remember and the ride raises money for a great cause; the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Fire up your bikes and let’s ride to help stomp out this nasty disease.
The ride takes place on Saturday July 15th with registration beginning at 9am at the Office Lounge in Loveland. [1710 West Eisenhower Boulevard – Loveland]
Cost is $15 single and $25 double with FREE shirts to the first 100 who show up.
The end location is again at Crazy Jack’s Saloon [6520 S. College – Fort Collins] with the auction starting at 3pm.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, Low Hand and matching “Katie’s Hand” [Katie picks 5 random cards and whoever matches her hand the closest wins a prize.]
Other stops include: T-Bar Inn in Wellington, Full Moon Saloon in Pierce and Bruce’s Bar in Severance.
Katie represents over 50,000 children and adults currently living with CF in the United States. All the proceeds from Katie’s Ride are sent to the Denver chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where over 92 cents of every dollar is used for research and helping those living with CF. In the past ten years, Katie’s Ride has raised over $100,000.
