Kacey Musgraves Just Trying To Make A Name For Herself [VIDEO][POLL]

Back in January I did a feature on today's artist Kacey Musgraves.  It was done before the release of "Merry Go Round," the latest single from Musgrave. The feature from back in January includes some great songs you will probably enjoy.  You might know Kacey from Season 5 of Nashville Star and I am really hoping she carves a niche for herself somewhere along the way. She reminds me a lot of Tanya Tucker, Miranda Lambert and Gretchen Wilson all rolled into one. This spitfire Texas brunette is proving she has something to say and real, honest music to be heard. Texas has already taken notice of Kacey Musgraves, and the rest of the country is catching on quickly. Kacey Musgraves most recently joined Lady Antebellum on their Own the Night 2012 tour in the United Kingdom. She also signed with Mercury Records this year and released her debut single "Merry Go 'Round".  The album which is untitled at this point with no release date set will be produced by Shane McAnally and Luke Laird so she's in real good hands.

Ready, set, go!  Kacey Musgraves is on her way to the next level and I am pumped to hear what's next from her debut album.
