The generosity of the K99 listeners never ceases to amaze us, and it seems like you get more creative every year, when it comes to raising money for the 28 Hours of Hope. This year, Fort Collins resident Diana Shaner crocheted an afghan and got friends and family to donate a set amount of money per square completed. She was able to help raise $1,550 to help battle child abuse in Northern Colorado.

She also donated the beautiful afghan to one of the three charities helped out by the 28 Hours of Hope. We had a drawing to decide which organization would receive the blanket. Namaqua Center won the coveted prize.

Thank you Diana for your generosity and hard work.
