K99 Celebrates Customer Appreciation Day at LaSalle Oil Company

Friday afternoon was filled with sunshine, stuffed bellies and lots of smiling faces at LaSalle Oil Company's Customer Appreciation Day!

K99 was honored to be a part of such a special event, put on by such a fantastic and gracious family. For the Downes' Family, who are the owners of LaSalle Oil Co., holding Customer Appreciation Day for the past five years has allowed them to give back and say thank you to the community– and the community is definitely thankful for them as well!

Doug and Debbie Downes had the grills all fired up on Friday, serving up plates and plates of delicious burgers and juicy brats to customers and community members who stopped by throughout the afternoon. K99's D Dennison even got in on some burger flipping action! For dessert there were cookies and an ice cream machine, which was an amazing treat to help beat the heat!

Besides just the tasty food for guests to enjoy, the Ice Cream Man and Xtermigator Monster Trucks were on-site to look at and climb on, as well as Monster Truck drivers, J. R. McNeal and Roy Pridgeon. LaSalle Oil Co. is the only direct supplier of Amalie oils in Colorado, and Amalie recently joined the Monster Truck scene by becoming a sponsor.

The atmosphere of the entire day was so fun and it was a really neat way for the community of LaSalle to come together. Doug Downes and daughter Pam both expressed how much joy they get out of having this event every year because they love being able to say thank you to all of their customers. The Downes' family is truly the most humble group of people you could ever meet, and they are so thankful for their community, saying they wouldn't be where they are today, without all of them.

We appreciate being able to be a part of such a memorable event, and a big thanks to the Downes Family and entire LaSalle Oil Co. staff for going above and beyond to make the day absolutely perfect!
