In our next countdown blog as we look back on 2015 and talk about what was hot...and what was not...your votes once again make a big difference.

Let's take a look now at your favorite country song of 2015!

There were many great songs that came at us throughout the year, and one of the greatest things about it was the newcomers to Nashville made themselves stand out in 2015 to show they they are here to stay.

For three days, Northern Colorado placed their votes and this is who YOU decided were your favorite songs from 2015!

Brothers Osborne - "Stay a Little Longer"

Brothers Osborne released this song at the beginning of 2015, and while it took a little bit to grow on everyone...IT DID. And it turned out to be HUGE.

The best part is that their success continues into 2016, as they look to make "Stay a Little Longer" a number one song in January.

Northern Colorado has it as their #1 song for 2015...with 12% of the vote!

Thomas Rhett - "Crash and Burn"

It was a big year for Thomas Rhett, and many Northern Colorado listeners also think he has the best chance to be the next Country superstar in 2016.

Rhett places two songs in our top five, as "Crash and Burn" brought in 10% of the listener vote!

Thomas Rhett - "Die a Happy Man"

Thomas Rhett not only has two songs in our top five, he has two songs in the TOP THREE!

What's amazing with this choice is that this song is still relatively new, as it was released back in October of 2015. But it resonates with the listening audience and has meaning to it which has made an impact here at K99.

With how young this song still is, it could also go down as one of the favorites from 2016. Guess we'll see on January 1st, 2017!

Luke Bryan - "Strip It Down"

You may also have his songs that you very much dislike, but Northern Colorado places Luke Bryan's "Strip It Down" as the #4 favorite song of the year with 6% of the vote.

This song was a huge hit with the female demographic, and had a sultry sound to it which was a good return for Bryan after "Kick the Dust Up" showed on our "worst of 2015" lists.

    Cam - "Burning House"

Rounding out the top five, was one of our biggest "New from Nashville's" of 2015 with newcomer Cam.

She had an infectious personality on stage at the Boot Grill in Loveland and with "Burning House", she put herself on the same pedestal as some of the biggest female names in country music.

We think 2016 is going to be even bigger for Cam!
