Justin Bauer Memorial Poker Run and Golf Tournament this Saturday

The Evans VFW invite all golfers and poker run enthusiasts out tomorrow for a day of fun. All proceeds benefit the Denver Fisher House and the Weld County Service Officer.

The Justin Bauer Memorial Run, now in it's 6th year, has added a golf tournament into the mix that will be held at the Mad Russian in Milliken.

Registration for the poker run is at the Evans VFW Post #6624 (3501 State St.) starting at 8:00 a.m. and cost is $20.00 per person and includes lunch and prizes. Stops include the VFW in La Salle, Burnout Grill, Derby Grill, Windjammer at Carter Lake, Tilted Kilt and the final stop will be back at the Evans VFW.

Registration for the golf tournament will be at the Mad Russian starting at 8:00 a.m. with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. Cost for the golf tournament is $75 per person and includes 18-holes, golf cart, lunch and prizes.

Lunch will be served at 2:00 p.m. at the Evans VFW Post #6624 with prizes, drawings, and live auction to follow lunch.

100% of the proceeds go to Denver Fisher House and the Weld County Service Officer
