Journey 4 Justice: A Must Read for Old, New & Future Members

This is a must read for old, new and future members to get everyone back on the same page about what we do, why we do it and how it all got started.  I hope everyone reads this, shares it and I hope more than anything that everyone in Topeka Kansas see's this blog today.

I'm not the type of guy to hold back my thoughts.  If your afraid of an answer I might give then don't ask me the question because I am not going to tell you what I think you want to hear but rather you'll hear what I think.  Sometimes it's unpopular but hey, that's life.  I expect the same from those around me as is required of me: respect, honesty and accountability.

With that preface out of the way I wanted to explain again how Journey 4 Justice got started and why.  But to fully understand and encompass the magnitude of it, you'll need to invest some time and read the story that went viral the 2nd week of June 2011 and that also means reading all the comments starting at the very first one; or at least the first 500 or so.  From all those comments  you will understand why this all started because from all those comments came Journey 4 Justice.

To sum it all up, 100's from all across the country wanted to do what we did when we rode out to Topeka on June 5th of last year.  I did the trip because I wanted The Most Hated Family in America to know what it felt like to have their privacy invaded.  Give them a taste of their own medicine so to speak.   After all, it's a free country and I can go to church or walk on any public sidewalk I wanted, so that's what we did.  Everyone called me crazy before the trip and said I would be arrested and needed permits blah, blah, blah. Tried to remind everyone we live in the U.S.A. and I didn't need a permit to carry a flag on a public sidewalk nor did I need anyone's permission to go worship at a church.

The trip we took proved that.  4 guys from Colorado went and rocked the world of the westboro baptist church and people went nuts wanting to do the same thing.  So here we are and we're not going anywhere, except to Topeka.

We have handed out over 10,000 business cards to residents of Topeka and they have seen State flags from Colorado, Texas, New York, Minnesota, Ohio, Indiana, Nebraska, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Kansas and a few others.  Yet only 5 people in Topeka are helping.

Our teams have been at their compound and waving flags in Topeka every single weekend, mostly thanks to Team Topeka who has been out literally every weekend all Winter long and along the way we have witnessed and documented things that would land you or I in jail or at the very least a citation and possibly some court time.  Will there be legal action in the future?  Highly likely because the one thing we have learned from that vile cult is to record and document everything. Hmmmm, I wonder what else we have?

• Hit and Run
• Not answering the door on a complaint that was called in
• Running plate numbers to obtain names and addresses
• Large groups holding signs that don't have permits to do so
• Calling the PD out every single weekend.

So why has the Topeka PD never been held accountable?  Our members have seen many things the westboro baptist church is allowed to get away with and I am curious why.  If I were a resident of Topeka Kansas I would demand the PD do their job and that's all we have ever asked...do your job! But on many occasions, you'd be surprised at how the PD treats our members who are following the law to the letter yet they side with the westboro baptist church every time.  {The officer in the pic above you would have thought was a member of their church.} Why?  Because they too have been bullied for decades and even the PD would rather just turn their heads and ignore it. Then all of a sudden...Journey 4 Justice came to town and never before have they been put into this position.  So again, all we ask is for the Topeka PD to do their job; we're here to help!

It shouldn't matter how much money you have, what your occupation is or how you spell your last name.

~NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW~

Am I worried the PD will see this?  Nope.  Our law firm has already sent the Chief a letter and I will probably mail him a copy of this story to make sure he see's it.

Am I worried America's Most Hated family will see this?  Nope.  I will probably be mailing Fred Phelps his own copy as well.

Am I worried the citizens of Topeka will see this?  Nope.  I hope everyone of them see's it, all 120,000 of them and begin to take notice and help us rid Topeka of their own problem. People from all across the country shouldn't have to do what you all should have been doing YEARS ago!

The 1st Amendment and Freedom of Speech!  Isn't it great!!!  Exercise your right of free speech and you too can help make their lives as uncomfortable as possible and do it legally and 100% according to State law because there isn't a damn thing they can do about it except run like the cowards they are every time we show up.  We thoroughly enjoy it and you will as well.  Stop thinking someone else will take care of your problem/s and start doing something about it yourself!
