One of the greatest things about living in Northern Colorado is the sense of community we seem to all share. This area takes care of their own and I am very proud of that. We have seen this time and time again in our years here at K99. We get to feel your hearts during the 28 Hours of Hope and any other fundraisers we get involved in to help those that need us.

This Saturday night one of our own could use a little of your help. Jerry Shaffer and the Darn Thirsty Cowboys were the first act Todd and I ever introduced on stage when we got started in the late 80's. Jerry has been influential to the Northern Colorado music scene for decades. He has always been there to help anyone in need and was always willing to lend a helping hand to a young artist hoping to get some time on the microphone. Jerry and Eileen have been battling health issues and really took a hit when the canyon flooded again awhile back. We want to help them.

Clint Clymer, who has known Jerry since he was knee high, is putting on a benefit concert, auction and dinner Saturday night at Ellis Ranch in Loveland, Check out the video for details on the event and click the link below. You can get tickets by calling Clint at 970-443-0973.
