Johnstown BBQ Day is This Saturday
I recently moved to Johnstown earlier this year. I love it! It has a small town feel close to bigger cities. I have met many of my neighbors and I am happy to be living around them. Now, I look forward to meeting more of the residents in a town I call home at the Johnstown BBQ Day coming up this Saturday, June 4th.
This special day kicks off with a pancake breakfast at the Johnstown Firehouse off of Telep Ave bright and early at 5 a.m. and goes until 9 a.m.
Breakfast for adults is $6 and kids 12 and under will be $4.
After you get your morning nutrition, you can head on over to the parade route to get ready for the parade that starts at 10 a.m.!
If parades aren't your thing, you can venture over to Parish Park for family games, food booths and a craft fair!
Other activities also include a climbing wall, zip line, human gyroscope and more!
A pie eating contest will also be held at Parish Park coming up at 2:30 p.m.
5 o'clock... It's dinner time with BBQ in the park! $6 will get you a 1/4 lb. pulled pork sanwich (YUM!), 2 sides, a drink and a slice of pie. There will also be a band for the BBQ celebration with HomeSlice!
At 9 p.m. one of my favorite things ever happens... FIREWORKS!
There is a bunch of other fun things happening that day also and you can get more info about the Johnstown BBQ day HERE! I am looking forward to seeing you all out there!
