I am old and I admit it. I grew up on Johnny Carson and feel late night TV died when he retired. I used to love to sit up and watch the monologue, like the rest of America, every single night. Johnny had that 'something' that no one since has come close to in my mind.

It was on this date in 2005 that Johnny passed away at the age of 79. I have not really watched much late night TV since he left but then again I get up at 230 am each day so late night for me is now 8 pm. Since Johnny hung up the microphone there have been many others who have tried to be King of Late Night. Jay Leno was considered that for many years after Johnny but who rules the airwaves now? Who do you watch before bed?

Vote here and let me know who today's reigning King of Late Night TV is.
