Jeff Cook of Alabama Turns 66 Today [VIDEO]

Alabama is, without a doubt, the greatest band in the history of country music. There really is no argument to be made with that statement. They gave us so many amazing songs through the decades it is remarkable. They called it quits a few years back but have reunited and are putting out their first new album in over a decade this month.

Today Jeff Cook of Alabama celebrates his 66th birthday. Jeff has been a part of Alabama since the beginning and has had numerous solo projects as well. He is one talented man and a really great guy. When we were in Dallas for the ACM awards this year, we were staying the same hotel as Jeff. I ran into him in front of the hotel and shook his hand and thanked him for all the great music. He sat down and talked with me over half an hour and was so kind. I will never forget that. Happy birthday Jeff. Here is to many more.
