The day is nearly over and I just saw that it is gum drop day! Now I know that you know that I am not a sweet, I'm a savory, but hello... I love me some Dots!

I cannot believe that I missed this... not enough coffee this morning apparently. Do you know what I am doing after work today? Yep, I am running to the nearest dollar store and getting me a box or two or maybe three (who is counting)

Do you like Dots/Gum Drops? Spiced Gum Drops? What is your favorite color/flavor? (mine is cherry/red)

I actually found this on the internet and had to laugh out loud, do you know why I laughed?

Gummy, chewy, tasty sweets are the theme of Gumdrop Day, which presents you the opportunity (or the excuse) to eat as many gumdrops as possible (within reason, with consideration for your teeth, sugar levels and general health)!

Dots have been around since 1945 and they now can be found in a wide range of flavors including tropical, original and Crows (black licorice-side note, they were to be rows and due to a art error wound up being Crows-I like it better)

Spiced gum drops are good too, the ones with the sugar on them. I don't know what it is about these candies, but yum.

Other candies you didn't know I like... Hot Tamales, Mike and Ikes (original), Licorice (red-preferably cherry), good Jelly Beans, Skittles, Starburst, Now n Laters and gummi/sour worms.
