It’s Free Fishing Weekend — Here’s Your Best Fishing Spots
A few months ago you were asked to tell us where you liked fishing the most. You told us where the fish were usually biting and the best overall places to hang out for the day. So, now that's it's a Colorado free fishing weekend, here are your best fishing spots.

- Horsetooth Reservoir
- St. Vrain Lakes
- Boyd Lake
- Wellington #4
- Barr Lake
Most spots will, at the very least, hook you up with dinner. There are a variety of fish available in each of these fishing spots including, Walleye, Bass, Muskies, Catfish and Perch.
Colorado’s Free Fishing Weekend Saturday and Sunday (June 7-8). Fishermen of all ages can fish without a license anywhere in the state this weekend.
