The City of Boulder is relocating about 500 prairie dogs to nearby grasslands, because they are causing some damage to the Foothills Community Park. They're trapping the
prairie dogs and moving them to new digs.

It’s going to cost about $66,000 to move all of the prairie dogs, which is just over $132 per animal. The city says killing the prairie dogs is a last resort.
