Is it Legal to Drive Barefoot?

Summer is here and the heat is cranking up. We will be wearing less clothing and heading to places to cool off. As you kick off your shoes to cool down you may wonder if you need to put on shoes to drive. No! For some reason I always thought it was illegal to drive without shoes. I was wrong. I did a little searching on the internet and found the truth. Barefoot driving is just fine. I have no doubt that it may be a little easier with shoes but they are not necessary.

So if you climb out the water and get your feet all sandy, don't worry about having to dirty up your shoes or flip flops to drive. You may legally do it with no foot wear. I learned something new today and thought I would pass it on. Have a fun Colorado summer.
