Is It Cheating to Give a Gift Card as a Christmas Gift? [POLL]

Call me crazy but I like getting gift cards for Christmas.  I think it is practical.  I can buy what I want at a store that I like.  We gave out gift cards this Christmas to a few family members and I hope we get a few this year. If you are looking for something to get me this Christmas, get me a gift card at one of my favorite restaurants!  (Wink Wink) Maybe you are old fashioned and think gift cards are cold, impersonal and downright cheating.  It's our Web Question of the Day!
