Colorado has garnered a lot of attention over the past couple months as the quarterback for the Denver Broncos, Tim Tebow, has taken not only the sports world, but the pop culture world by storm. But this week, people were not only talking about Tebow's life on the field but also his life off of it. Rumors have swirled about Tebow and his relationship to Colorado skier Lindsey Vonn after she was in Tebow's family box at the game this weekend. Vonn however, quickly put those rumors to bed.

Vonn, the Vail native and Olympic gold medalist says she met Tebow and his brother, Pete Tebow, at the ESPYs three or four years ago. Tim Tebow presented her with an ESPY award this year, and "I said, 'If you want to come up to Vail and ski, let me know." Vonn also said she has gotten to know the whole Tebow family and "They're great people, very kind and generous. It's been nice to know them."

Maybe that explains why Vonn watched last Sunday's Bronco game from the Tebow family box. But, with Vonn announcing last month that she is divorcing her husband, one would think she had to know the rumors would spread like wildfire. That they did! Vonn was quick to kill the rumors though by saying on Twitter "Hearing a lot of crazy rumors but rest assured I am NOT dating Tim Tebow (or anyone else). I'm just friends with his family. xo, LV".

In an interview with the Associated Press Vonn did praise Tebow and what he has done saying "He's proving them all wrong." And "In a way, that's what I'm trying to do as well - to be able to compete under any circumstance and keep fighting and doing my best every day. Just because I `Tebow,' doesn't mean I'm dating him. I said that if I won in Colorado, I would `Tebow' because I admire what he's doing."

The Broncos host the New England Patriots and another quarterback who dominates pop culture as well in Tom Brady this Sunday in Denver.
