Noodles & Company, with locations throughout Colorado, is a great stop for families who need a quick, good bite to eat. But we've also learned it's a favorite for criminals too.

According to Denver Channel 7, there has been a credit card breach at the Colorado based chain which affects customers from January, 2016 to present.

In an email sent to a customer from a local bank, that was obtained by Denver Channel 7, the company says, "We have received information from Visa that during a recent security review, your Visa card number was identified as possibly being compromised at Noodles & Company locations and is at risk for unauthorized charges. Don’t worry — you won’t have to worry about paying for unauthorized charges because your card is backed by Visa’s Zero Liability protection (some limitations apply)".

Noodles & Company issued their own statement concerning the credit card breach saying, "We are currently investigating some unusual activity reported to us on May 17, 2016, by our credit card processor. Once we received this report, we alerted law enforcement officials and we are working with third-party forensic experts. Our investigation is ongoing and we will continue to share information."

If you have noticed any fraudulent activity on your credit card over the last few months, and have eaten at a Noodles & Company, please make sure you notify your bank ASAP so you can get the charges investigated.
