This is a very monumental day for me. Today I rode my Harley to work. I have been waiting on this day since April or May, which was the last time I was able to ride my motorcycle. You have probably heard me talk about or write about my issues with my vision this past year which has kept me from riding. It has been a very difficult time not being able to do something I love so much. Today the wait is over and I finally got back on.

I was fitted with a lens this week that made my vision clear again in my right eye and I am back! I can't tell you how amazing it felt to have that wind going through my hair again. There is nothing that wakes you up quicker than feeling that rumble between your legs. I forgot how good that feels. There is nothing like looking out the window and seeing your bike in the parking lot and knowing that when your work day is done that you get to jump on that thing and feel more free than you feel anywhere else. Every bit of stress and tension seems to fade away when you are rolling down a backroad. I am a very lucky man and I thank all of you who have had me in your prayers and I thank all the medical staff and doctors who have worked with me on this process and helped make this day come.

I was beginning to think I was never going to be able to see well enough to ride again and was starting to consider that fact that I may have to get rid of my bike. Forget about it! I am back!! Ride on brothers and sisters.
