I have been on a hunt for some new hot sauces for quite some time now and I finally got up the nerve to pull the trigger on buying a few bottles of some new sauces.

Well, to be honest, four bottles are new to me. The initial reason for buying a 6 pack of spice was the Santa Fe Seasons Green Chile Hot Sauce! I purchased a bottle of this hot sauce back in September when we were down in New Mexico for a little getaway. Over those past few months, the $7 bottle has steadily dwindled down to almost empty. I had to have it my fridge... So here we are, with two bottles of the green chile hot sauce and four that I have yet to try.

Dave's Gourmet Crazy Caribbean - I am thinking this should be good on seafood. Think seared scallops, shrimp and possibly sandwiches depending on what kind they are.

Marie Sharp's Grapefruit Pulp Habanero - Not really sure what to expect with this one. I wanted one that was off the wall and this was the random that I clicked on. If it is not good, no worries, it is only a 1.69 oz. bottle.

Marie Sharp's Habanero Pepper Sauce - Simple, spicy, habaneros. This is also a 1.69 oz. bottle that I am planning on keeping in the fridge at the studio for when I need that extra kick.

Marie Sharp's Belizean Heat - This one is the one I might be a tad bit nervous about. Heat level indicators have a warning on the bottle accompanied by four red X's. The warning says " must be strong to handle this sauce" it goes on about the obvious, don't get it in your eyes, avoid skin contact, etc. then proceeds to finish up with "Do not play tricks on the weak or elderly with this sauce". Yep, I am stoked to try this one!

I also have 8 more bottles of hot sauce on their way to me as I write this. I of course, will show you what brand and flavors that will be coming soon!
