Hunter’s Rescued West of Fort Collins

A Livermore man who got lost while hunting in the mountains west of Fort Collins last weekend was rescued 17 hours later. Meanwhile two other lost hunters were found in the same area. The 30-year-old Livermore man, was spotted Sunday afternoon by Civil Air Patrol pilots and was soon afterward rescued. He was cold and tired but otherwise OK. As the initial search got going, rescuers received another report of a father and son hunting team lost in the same area. The two men, from Loveland, were located mid-morning Sunday, unharmed.
