I remember vividly Hunter Hayes stopping by the K99 studios and performing a song down in our conference room. The song was called "Storm Warning" and was to be the first single of what looks like a stellar career for the young man. Now Hayes has released a  new song called "Somebody's Heartbreak."

Although Storm Warning never made it to #1 (#14) his second single, Wanted sure enough did.  In fact, he became the youngest solo act to have a #1 song since Johnny Rodriquez did it back in 1973 with "You always come back." Now Hunter has released a third single from his debut album called "Somebody's Heartbreak" and to me, has a very unique and different sound.

Hunter Hayes is currently on tour opening for Carrie Underwood.  Not a bad start!
