The campus at Colorado State University is already buzzing with the excitement of hundreds of new students milling around the plaza, navigating their way to classes, and meeting tons of new people– but one more perk, the Human Bean Coffee Truck now has a home on campus, providing students with the extra jolt needed for the hectic college lifestyle and also acting as a huge support system for CSU athletics.

Stationed on the southwest side of Moby Arena at Shields and Elizabeth streets, this state-of-the-art, mobile coffee truck is conveniently located right next to the main path, allowing easy access for those coming in and out of campus to stop and take a break from the daily grind to enjoy a delicious caffeinated beverage. up beverages Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. On Monday during the campus launch, the staff of the Human Bean Truck was even handing out free coffee to collegians who were passing by– a definite bonus to help kick start the first day of the school year and just another example of how much they care about the CSU community.

The thirty-two foot truck, which was created right here in Fort Collins, includes tons of well thought out and customized features making it one-of-a-kind and unique from other local food trucks. For one, the exterior appearance was designed to look exactly like the actual Human Bean retail locations, and being that the wheels and sides are disguised and covered, you would never even think that it's really a truck. I'm sure the staff is very thankful for the perk of having a sun roof up top and a front seat that conveniently converts into a desk for office work. The high-tech truck is also equipped with three espresso machines, a smoothie machine, a super granita machine and even has solar panels that fuel on-board electronics. Future plans for the panels include an exterior charging station for customers, which will appropriately be named the "Juice Bar." Also catering to the Colorado State community, is the flat panel television that will stream all of the CSU games, complete with an interior and exterior sound and an awning for better viewing so that fans will never miss a play.

The CSU Community has been very supportive of The Human Bean and being directly on campus is the perfect way to better serve them – Frank Sherman, owner of The Human Bean

While it will most always be at this campus location, as the "official coffee sponsor of CSU athletics," the Human Bean Truck will also roll out from time to time, making appearances at Rams sporting events and other local happenings. You can track where they will be and keep up with your favorite mobile baristas by following them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram by searching HBCoffeeTruck. The truck is also available for private or corporate events and those who may be interested in having them should email TheHumanBeanCoffeeTruck@gmail.com.

The Human Bean is locally owned and operated and has seven locations around Northern Colorado. Their creative menu offers signature latte drinks, fun frozen concoctions, and of course, the classic coffee favorites. With each drink comes a yummy chocolate bean, and I'm not lying when I say that I look forward to this sweet treat just as much as the cup of coffee. If you're searching for that perfect place to get your caffeine fix, with easy access and delicious options, make sure to give The Human Bean Coffee Truck a try!
